Navy life aboard ship is tight, small and full of creative solutions to maximize space. I also lived in NYC in a 200 sq. ft. studio. I've always been a minimalist, which was handy in my nomadic 20’s. Cassie moved to Florida from Massachusetts in February 2015 just to live in a tiny house on wheels. Nestled in a grove of trees right on the lake, her THOW is located at the perfect setting for a free-spirit to live tiny. Cassie just started a blog about her new life in Florida. I guess I'll start with a brief explanation of how the heck this Massachusetts girl ended up in a THOW (tiny house on wheels) in smack dab downtown Orlando... The adventure started back in November of last year, when I finally built up enough courage to click, "book your flight". For $70 I had just purchased a one way ticket to Orlando, FL on February 9, 2015, my 21st birthday. I had no plan, no reason, and just enough money saved up. 10 weeks. I thought that was plenty of time to figure something out. (Read more...) Our sixth tiny house on wheels has arrived at Orlando Lakefront! With the two tiny houses in the park that are in foundations, we have eight tiny houses. Our THC is growing!More tiny houses are expected to arrive this summer, as new THers finish their builds. We also have current tiny housers that own their THOWs, who are planning to live at Orlando Lakefront. All have reserved their spaces ahead of time.
